so i tried out a bunch of the songs you guys requested but they just didn’t seem to fit me. it felt too forced or something. i think some of you even stumbled onto my attempt at covering a bunch of the rap/r&b songs in one. i wasn’t really that happy with it. anyways, i decided to do a cover of a little-known song called “when i write the book”. enjoy! and keep requesting; maybe something will feel right…

YAY!! It did take a long time. but I’m glad you waited until you were happy with it. I really enjoyed it. oh I do wish I had been one of those people who had stumbled across your other attempts though.
So kind of itchin for an update about finding band member possible touring and stuff like that. you know, the business stuff. whenever I don’t hear anything I always assume it’s not good 
I blame my parents for that. a little, “all is progressing” would be reassuring.

It’s a Nick Lowe song. Nick Lowe did play in Rockpile with Dave Edmunds. He also wrote (What’s So Funny Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding and produced a couple amazing Elvis Costello records.
