So a while back Bobby Darling and I were hanging out at Casey’s studio and decided to write some songs. We tracked the skeletons to about ten songs, but only completely finished one. I finally got around to mixing it with Casey yesterday so I wanted to share it with all of you. Bobby and I hope to be able to get a few more finished in the near future. We named the side project Zero Cool. And the song is called “Godzilla”. It features Bobby on guitars and bass, myself on drums, and both of us on vocals. You can listen below or download here. Enjoy!

THANK YOU!!! The song seems like a resurgence of a classic sound and I mean that as an uber compliment. 0:41 awakens memories of I am a Heart Watson. The panned backup vocals made me look over my shoulder, literally, first right, then left. Am I alone? thanks for posting the lyrics thomas! do you have any tips for creative lyric writing? i can write music easily, but for some reason writing lyrics is very challenging. i cant get them to sound creative enough. my favorite lyrics of yours are probably from beware the jubjub or great affair. any tips?
