FILM CLUB: Days Of Heaven

In preparation of The Tree Of Life opening tomorrow, I watched Days Of Heaven this week, Terrence Malick’s 1978 masterpiece. It stars a very young Richard Gere, a gorgeous Brooke Adams, has an utterly beautiful score, and some of the best cinematography I can remember seeing. It makes There Will Be Blood (which I loved) seem like Hollywood polish. Beautiful film. Highly recommended.
