i called bobby to have him teach me the song, but he could only talk for a minute so i sort of did my own little rendition.

i want to record some videos covering some songs for you guys.  obviously i won’t be able to do all of them, but i’ll pick a few i think i can handle and give it my best.  soooo, whatcha got in mind??

so i’m looking to acquire some touring musicians/crew for forgive durden. first off, i need a very talented GUITARIST / KEYBOARDIST. however, if i’m unable to find someone who can do both, i’m willing to take on a guitarist and key player separately. so if you’re interested in playing GUITAR AND/OR KEYS on tour in forgive durden please submit the following (to tomdutton@gmail.com):

-video of you playing where you can distinctly be heard and seen (preferably uploaded to youtube, etc.)

-full body photo

-brief bio (including where you live, age, musical background, touring experience, musical influences, gear owned, and anything else you might like me to know)

i was at caseys last night recording drums with bobby. apparently i play really hard. i apparently also have delicate hands cuz they got mutilated. see below.

last night (after 2:30am!) someone smashed the passenger side window of my car and stole my ipod.  keep in mind this was in the driveway at my parent’s house, which is tucked deep in a corner of a residential area in the normally-crime-free city of bellevue, wa.  and the worst part is that i usually always bring it inside with me.  the one night i don’t, the iThief makes his move. 

i’ll get you, motherfucker.

i had a long/fun/random/drunk weekend. i got to see a lot of people i hadn’t seen in a long time. i tried to take a lot of pictures but i kept forgetting i had my camera. next time there’ll be more! check em all out after the jump! (more…)
